DictatorsAll of these problems led to the rise of dictators.People in many countries were searching for any little shred of hope that they could grasp on to.Many of these dictators provided that hope.Dictator A ruler with total power over a country. Usually, that power is obtained through force.The 3 DictatorsAll of these dictators had the goal of achieving a Total State. This is called Totalitarianism.Totalitarianism When all aspects of life are controlled by the dictator and his party.

DictatorsAfter WWI, Italy, Russia, and Germany were all struggling with both political and economic crisis.Each of these countries is taken over by a dictator.
