Marquee selection:
Blue: left to right - selects everything totally inside the selection box
Green: right to left - selects everything inside the selections box AND everything that the box intersects
TR + space Trim tool – To cut a line at an interception
EL Eclipse
CO Copy
O OFFSE – to select something and make it bigger.
Creating an arch
Select the options from the drop down menu.
Then select the points instructed to
create your arch.
Select TR, Then it will ask you to select a cutting edge, so select the circle edge. Then press space to confirm selection.
Then drag across the lines.
By then preing space bar twice, it open the select all tool, so then every intersection can be the cuttng edge.
Using OFFSET
O - Offset
Then click and the lines delete. As shown below
Press O and then space, then type in the distance that’s needed. For the boarders above I needed 90.
Then use the TR tool to delete the lines from the boarder.
CRTL + RIGHT CLICK BRIGHS UP THYE QUICK OBJECTSNAP MENU
SELECT OSMAP SETTINGS
TR and Space then allows you to
select yourself.
TR TRIM
TO DRAW AN ELIPSE.
SHORTCUT.
SPECIFY START POINT AND POINT THE CURSER IN THE DIRECTION OFTER AXIS

TO OFFSET AN OBJECT
SELECT THE OFFSET DISTANCE
(EITHER SELECT THE DISTANCE ON SCREEN BY CLICKING THE MOUSE ON TWO POINTS- OR ENTER A VALUE ) SELECT THE OBJECT TO OFFSET, SELECT WHICH SIDE YOU WISH TO OFFSET.
