The major activity will be focused grant-writing workshops to target specific funding streams for each of the sub-‐projects. Support was asked the WUN for Sub-Projects 1 and 2; 3 and 4 are in the ‘pipeline’.

2. Towards State-‐of-‐the-‐Art Breeding in Grassland Production Systems
3. Soil Organic Carbon – devising a single proxy measure for the sustainability of pastoral systems
4. Global potential of deep rooting perennial grasses to counter climate change
