A few notes from the tabroom

1. General rules of tabbing2. Filling in the ballot

• WUDC rules apply

• Powerpairing: You meet teams of equal strength, as

measured by ranking points.

• Pull-up: You may be pulled up to a higher bracket, but

we‘ll try to avoid repeats.

• Position rotation: We will try to fully rotate you twice,

no promise though.

• Our current information is: Open break will be 48

teams, ESL break 16 teams, EFL break also 16 teams.

• Speaker points are only relevant for determining the

break, not for the pairings.

2. Filling in the ballots

Chairs• Never take the ballots from a room

• Mark any change on the ballots, e.g. swing teams or adjudicator changes

Wings• Please think (and calculate) along and

correct your chair where necessary.

Fill in the ballot as clear andunequivocal as possible

Please mark corrections CLEARLY

Please mark corrections CLEARLY

Watch your digits; 1&7, 4&9 may look alike.

Fill in all the fields, always add up the sums

Do not change the order in whichspeakers appear on the ballot.

Use conventional mathsAlso: No low points wins or draws

Please assist us in running a smooth tab.

Any delay caused by an individual affectslets 1.400 persons wait.
