Right click on the video file and click Rename and give the file with a descriptive title (e.g. yourusername_teach_vid.MP4). Open Video Cutter & Compressor – available in the Windows Store for free. Click on the Album or Camera button to find and select the video from your computer. If your video is large, it may take a while to load at first. Click the play button to make sure it is the correct video. 1

WRITTEN INSTRUCTIONS: Getting Video Ready for TK20 (PC)

Goal: Renaming a video file imported from phone/tablet and trimming and exporting file to less than < 300mb

Steps: Move video file to your computer’s Desktop. Right click on the video file and click Rename and give the file with a descriptive title

(e.g. yourusername_teach_vid.MP4). Open Video Cutter & Compressor – available in the Windows Store for free. Click on the Album or Camera button to find and select the video from your computer. If

your video is large, it may take a while to load at first. Click the play button to make sure it is the correct video.

Click the Trim button at the bottom of the window.

Drag the video so the beginning of the clip you want is at the playhead and click “Set Start.”

Drag the video so the end of the clip you want is at the playhead and click “Set End.”

Check the Duration to make sure the length of the clip is what you expected. Click the checkmark at the bottom of the window to set the trimmed length

Next click the Save button.

Make sure your video is less than 300 MB in size. If it is not, drag the compression slider to the right until it is under 300 MB and even a little further to make sure.

Click the “Save As” button at the bottom of the window.

Rename the video file to indicate that this video is trimmed and compressed (e.g. yourusername_teach_vid_trimmed).

Make sure the Desktop is the file’s destination. Click save and wait for video to export. Once the video has finished exporting, right click on the new file and open file properties

to ensure the file size is less than < 300.

This new file is ready to be uploaded to TK 20.
