INTRODUCTION

The guide includes working with RAM slots which are delicate and important to the operation of yourcomputer.

TOOLS:Spudger (1)




Step 1 — Back Panel

Remove the black battery bar fromthe computer before continuing anyfurther operations.

Unscrew the three 5mm Phillps #2screws on the left side of the backpanel.

Step 2

Lift up the left side of the panel.

There are three tabs holding in theright side of the panel. Pull the panelup and away from these tabs toremove it.




Step 3 — RAM

Locate both of the RAM slots rightbehind the back panel.

Step 4

Use a black spudger to press theclips holding the RAM outward. Youshould hear a "click" sound.

Once both clips have beenreleased, the RAM will be releasedat a 45 degree angle.




To reassemble your device, follow these instructions in reverse order.

Step 5

Carefully grab the RAM with bothhands and pull outward.

Repeat steps 4 & 5 to remove thesecond RAM.

Both RAMs should come out withoutmuch force. Do not attempt to pullthe RAM out with force as this coulddamage the fixture holding the RAM.
