(1 of 2) (+) Global economic growth depends onthe ability of all nations to ensure sustained national growth, such as inthe hi-tech sector. While science-based industrial parks represent thehub of hi-tech development in Taiwan, modern transportationnecessitates the construction of a hi-speed railway infrastructure, whichis infeasible for transportation inside such industrial parks. Such an

infrastructure may hinder park operations in certain ways. In addition tointerfering with manufacturing quality with a science park, vibrationsfrom a high speed railway system may subsequently discourageenterprises from establishing their operations inside such facilities andnecessitating that governmental authorities strive to resolve thisdilemma. Therefore, this work describes a vibration mitigationmethod to alleviate the adverse impact of a high-speed railway system.Vibrations induced by a high-speed railway system are observed inall operational aspects. Vibrations are then observed continuously atthe job site, with estimations correspondingly made. Next, the vibrationproperties are analyzed, including frequencies, velocities, and variousvibration sources from the ambient ground surface.

that the proposed vibration mitigation ssystem, thuseliminating concerns of administrators in hi-tech industrial-based parks.Importantly, the proposedvibration mitigation method facilitates the implementation ofvibration phenomena-related projects. Consequently,

manufacturing production will reach an acceptable rate andgenerate project revenues in hi-tech industrial-based parks.Achieving the above goals requires that practitioners andacademics integrate their efforts to reach an efficientsolution.

(1 of 2) (+) Responsible for 80-90% ofall public construction projects, construction companies andengineering consultancy firms lack personnel with art-related backgrounds, explaining the absence of anaesthetic quality in project design. The lack of such design

considerations can prevent a city from emitting a uniquelandscape or image. Therefore, this work presents anovel strategy to incorporate additional aesthetic planningin public construction projects in order to revitalize the citylandscape and instill in residents an appreciation of art.

An exploratory landscape group governing publicconstruction projects is established, whose members haveart-related backgrounds. Those members then decide howto incorporate an aesthetic quality in public constructionprojects. Next, design and construction are untaken byincorporating the group recommendations.

(2 of 2)Additionally, the group functions in an advisory role forpublic construction projects to clearly plan out thelandscape setting. Analysis resultsindicate that the proposed exploratory landscape

group alleviates concerns of incompatibility betweenlandscape setting and city construction by integratingan aesthetic quality in urban planning. Doing so significantly improves the urbanlandscape and instills in residents an appreciation ofart.
