BASIC LAYOUTThere are many online sites that have examples of resume layouts. A quick resume template search would be beneficial.
When searching for a layout have in mind that not all of them will fit your need. The layouts may vary from profession, field of study, work specific to student.
Make sure you select a layout that applies to the level of experience and education you have.

The 20-second Test
Try having someone perform the 20-second test on your resume. Simply time your reader for twenty seconds as he or
she reads your resume. What all did he/she learn about you?
If your reader noticed within 20 seconds what you want the committee to learn about you, then most likely you have
created an effective resume.
If not, revise your resume by try bolding or moving important information.
