Every Child Has a Story to Tell … … they only need to be confident enough to give it a voice!

In Writer’s Workshop, students are taught to: nurture their ideas, develop their talents, and push their creativity to new levels. Focusing on the development of the plot line, (or as Elle likes to call it, the “Lifeline of Literature) young authors are challenged with learning various aspects of writing narratives.

A blend of activity, conversation, art, and storytelling, children are encouraged to practice, grow and share the stories they create. In an environment dedicated to fun and achievement, students are excited to realize the greatest potential the world has to offer them … that of their own self-confidence.

Receiving thematic story development materials, as well as a “Writer’s Workshop Certificate of Completion,” students feel that their works-in-progress are true pieces of evolving literature. Within a few hours, children see themselves real, young authors!

GETTING TO KNOW ELLE HARRIS Elle Harris is an emergent author, motivational speaker, and teacher. With a Master’s Degree in Education and Professional Development, Elle has been working with students of all ages for the past ten years. Designing curriculum that is tailored to include: 21st Century Skills, Common Core State Standards, and PBIS Ideals, Elle focuses on the requirements of the district, the needs of the educators, and the interest of the students. Aside from conducting workshops and speaking, Elle is a mother and teacher, who still finds stolen moments to write, read, and dream. She is furthering her pursuit of more publications in both children’s and academic literature.
