Overview

Ecorazzi.com will soon be relaunching our popular online publicationwith an expanded website. We are seeking youthful, energetic andsavvy wordsmiths who are passionate about animal rights, theenvironment and humanitarian issues to join our growing team.

Candidates must have a knack and love for writing, a comprehensiveunderstanding of the industry and previous experience in writing. Alleditorial content will have a strong focus on animal rights and theAbolitionist approach by Gary Francione.

We currently have both full time and part time writing positionsavailable. The successful candidates must be able to work out of ourhead office, located in downtown Toronto.

Responsibilities:

Create high-quality content in collaboration with other editors,writers and team membersMust be able to aggregate news and contribute daily articles byresearching other stories and facts

Must be able to write well thought out opinion pieces on a varietyof controversial topicsConduct analytical projects to help improve our existing blogstrategies and tacticsDiscover and liaise with other writers and bloggers in the industry

Requirements:

Must share in our core company values and lead an ethical veganlifestylePossess a degree or diploma in a related field or possessequivalent working experienceMust have a passion for and strong understanding of animalrightsExceptional grammar, experience with Word Press, editingimages and ninja-like skills in digging up leads for articles are allbig plusesA strong understanding of the principles of The AbolitionistApproach by Gary Francione is preferred, but not required

The salary for the full time writing position is $35,000 – $45,000(based on experience). If you feel that you would be a good fit for thisposition please submit your cover letter and resume, along with aminimum of two relevant writing samples.
