EA SEA WAY – WP 6.3.2 ICT SOLUTION FOR IMPROVING connections between ports and railway/bus hubs

APPLICATION “APP” EASY PASSENGERS TOTEM TOUCH-SCREEN

GIVES INFORMATION ON:

• urban mobility system (bus);• how to reach main destinations by train and bus• touristic itineraries (hinterland)

GIVES INFORMATION ON:

• urban mobility system (bus);• how to reach main destinations by train and bus• touristic itineraries (hinterland)

GIVES INFORMATION TO: “connected passengers” GIVES INFORMATION TO: “non-connected passengers”

Acts as first contact with passengers and guides them through the city and the hinterland

APP – STRUCTURE AND FEATURES

Main features :

Replicable. The structure of the software should be implemented on different integrated transport system (main Adriatic hubs) without significative changes

Modulear. A Modulear structure allows fast/easy travel information updating (i.e. new routes, timetable changing etc.) Sustainability:

Economic sustainability: maintenance costs

Environmental sustainability: it is possible to estimate emissions (environmental impact) through specific algorithms

User Friendly The interface must be essential and recognisable in the three versions available for the passengers: Phone Application, Website, TOTEM Touch screen. Although this sw aims to guide the passengers through the Adriatic Basin, we think that aspects such as updating and maintainability are crucial. For this reason a specific interface will be carried out in order to simplify the implementation of new routes and/or changes process so technical staff will be non necessary for ordinary updating operations.
