Welcome to Mount Ida College! Our Week of Welcome (WOW) is a campus

wide program that aims to make you feel at home. WOW is packed with

social, informative, and academic events during which you’ll have a chance

to interact with and speak to current students, faculty and staff. WOW kick’s

off with our First Year Round-Up, a three day extended orientation to allow

our new students to acclimate to campus, get to know one another, and

begin to create memories together! WOW is your chance to get settled in,

relax, have fun, and begin making your mark!

Center for Leadership & Civic Engagement

College is one of the greatest adventures you’ll ever experience - make sure

you don’t do it alone! The Center for Leadership & Civic Engagement (CLCE)

is here to help you meet new friends and discover your place on campus.

CLCE works with other college departments to support your successful

transition to Mount Ida by creating shared experiences that connect you to

the community. Let CLCE and the Mount Ida Community make your year

fantastic! Welcome to MUSTANG CITY!

Event Changes, Cancellations, & Accommodations

Weather isn’t always cooperative! Event cancellations and location changes,

if any, will be posted on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram at:

First Year Round-Up is the extended orientation session for all

new students to the Mount Ida community. Round-Up will take

place in the first days after new students arrive on campus

before upper-class men and women begin moving in. The

Round-Up is designed to allow new students an opportunity to

begin connecting with one another, building relationships, and

getting used to their new environments before things really

begin to get busy.

This is your chance to begin writing your Mount Ida story.

Dive-in and start creating memories. What you get out of your

experience is directly related to what you put in. The next few

days will be filled with programs to help you get connected,

have fun, and learn a few things that will help you be

successful here at Mount Ida. Make sure you attend them,

participate, and take advantage of this great opportunity!
