Jazz Combo Rules from FBA Handbook

5. SPECIAL INFORMATION a. JAZZ COMBOS 1) May enter the Solo/Ensemble Music Performance Assessment as an ensemble entry. 2) Must consist of 5 to 7 players, with at least three rhythm instruments. 3) Music selection is at the discretion of the director, but an acceptable score or lead sheet (with measures numbered) must be provided to the adjudicator or the group will not be allowed to perform. 4) Must be able to set up, perform and clear the performance area within the allotted time period.
