    3. Do not abuse the cord on the batterycharger. Never carry thecharger by itspower cord Never pull the power cord toremove the transformer from the poweroutlet Damage to the cord or chargercould occur and create an electric shockhazard Keep cord away from heat, oil,sharp edges or moving parts Replacedamaged cords immediately Damagedcords increase the risk of electric shock

    4. Make sure cord is located sothat itwill not bestepped on, tripped over,come in contact with sharp edges ormoving parts, heat, oil, or otherwisesubjected to damage or stress.Thiswill reduce the risk of accidental falls,which could cause injury, and damageto the cord which could result in electric

    shock5. Keep cord and battery charger away

    fromheat to prevent damage tohousing or internal parts.

    6. Do not let gasoline, oils, petroleum-based products, etc. come in contactwithplastic parts.They containchemicals which can damage, weaken ordestroy plastic7. 1. CHARGINGYOUR BATTERY PACKWARNINGiThe charger and batterypack arespecifically designed to worktogether so do not attempt to use any other

    devices.The Li-ion battery is protected against deepdischarging.When the battery is empty,the machine is switched off by means of aprotective circuit:The chuck no longer rotates.

    WARNING:When battery charge runsout after continuous use or exposure to

    direct sunlight or heat, allow time for the toolto cool down before re-charging to achieve thefull charge.2. BEFORE USINGYOUR CORDLESSTOOLYour battery pack is UNCHARGED and youmust chargeonce before use.When youcharge the new battery or one which has notbeen used for long periods of time, it maynot reach full charge until after you havedischarged it fully in use and recharge itseveral times.3. HOW TOCHARGE YOUR BATTERYPACK (See A, B)Connect the battery charger to the powersupply and the light (1 ) should turn to green.Then, put the charger base (2) on battery packto make connections and the light (1) will turnto red to show charging has started, until thebattery is fully charged. A discharged batteryat normal ambient temperaturewill takeapproximately 3-5 hours to reach full charge.When charging iscompleted, the light(1)should turn to green, unplug the charger andremove the battery pack.Note:green = Power on or Fully Charged;red = charging;

    PROBLEM SOLUTION1.1CANNOT FIT THE BATTERY INTOTHEBATTERY CHARGER. WHY?The battery can be inserted into the chargerbase only in one direction. Turn the batteryaround until it can be inserted into theslot, thered light should turn on when the battery ischarging.2. REASONS FORDIFFERENT CHARGINGTIMESThe charging time can be affected by manyreasons which are not defects in your product.1) If the battery pack isonly partly discharged

    it may be re-charged in less than 3-5hours.2) If the battery pack and ambient

    temperature are very cold then re-chargingmay take more hours.

    3) If the battery pack isvery hot you mustremoveyour battery pack from the chargerand allow your battery pack to cool first toambient temperature and then rechargingcan be started.
