“I Serve In Kids Zone Because...”At Broadway we are driven by the calling to serve Christ as he works through us to transform our community and world. Many in our church have lived into this calling by serving in Kids Zone each month. Sundays in Kids Zone are opportunities for volunteers to encourage children in their spiritual growth, while sharing in the fun of learning about God in the Bible.
At a recent leader training in November, volunteers had a chance to share why they serve. Here is what they said:
“I serve in Kids Zone to be a positive role model for my child and his church friends.”
“I serve in Kids Zone because it’s a good way to get to know the kids and families in our church. And it is FUN!”
“I serve in Kids Zone because I love the Bible stories! They are on my level! I love seeing my own child learn about her church.”
“I was never connected to a church growing up. I serve in Kids Zone, because I want to help someone have that ‘home’ feeling while at church and have some fun while they are here.”
As our Broadway family continues to grow, the opportunities to volunteer in Kids Zone grows. If you would like to serve in Kids Zone one hour a month, please contact our Kids Zone Team:
