SPARKSPARKSPARKSPARK is a new program for 5th and 6th graders at Clayton First UMC. SPARKSPARKSPARKSPARK

stands for - SSSStudents PPPPursuing the AAAAlmighty RRRRedeemer's KKKKingdom. This program

was created to bridge the gap between the elementary school and the middle

school. It starts Wednesday, Sept. 9It starts Wednesday, Sept. 9It starts Wednesday, Sept. 9It starts Wednesday, Sept. 9thththth!!!!

SPARK SPARK SPARK SPARK is an extension of our FaithBuilder program. It will be held on Wednes-days after school and transportation will be announced in the schools as Faith-Builders. If your children are coming from outside the public school system, please have them at the Family Life Center by 3:45 pm. We will finish by 5:30 p.m. Clayton First UMC embraces the lives of all people, but there is a special place in our church for children. Jesus said let them come, and we believe he meant it! SPARKSPARKSPARKSPARK was designed with 5th and 6th graders in mind because we know the transition between elementary school and middle school is vital. We want our students to grow spiritually and in all aspects of life. We especially want our children to grow in their relationship with God and with others. The way we do this is through helping our students prioritize their relationship with Jesus, influencing their friends, and experiencing personal, hands-on ministry. SPARK will always open with prayer (2 Timothy 1:6). We will engage in action learning, reading scripture, praise & worship, and snack. Accountability groups

and prayer partners will be created.
