The meal and fellowship was a wonderful experience for everyone. We had the honor of bringing the larg- est number of people amongst the various con- gregations represented. It is a blessing to continue the rich tradition of working with our international students for over 50 years here in Stillwater. UP COMING EVENT for the INTERNATIONAL PROGRAM Annual Holiday Party Sunday, December 16, 2018 Immediately following AM services Jim & Mary Jo Self’s 6817 E McElroy Road Traditional Holiday Meal with all the trimmings; crafts for children; the story of Christmas; Holiday songs; decorating a Christmas tree. The International Sunday morning Bible class (9:00 a.m.) and the Wednesday evening class (6:30 p.m.) continues to be taught by Sylvia Duncan. In addition, beginning in January of 2019, the International Ministry will begin hosting monthly family events to reach out to the commu- nity. The goal is long term in building relationships and reaching a broader group of interna- tionals in our community. The events will be held on the fourth Sunday of each month from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. Each month will have a Biblical focus with a short devotional, a theme, and engaging and interactive activity designed for families. We are also giving an opportunity for those who might not be cur- rently involved in the ministry to spend some time assisting with these efforts. INTERNATIONAL MINISTRY

Sunday, November 18 our International Students and Teachers at-tended the Annual Thanks-giving Banquet hosted by the Memorial Road Church of Christ in Oklahoma City. The meal and fellowship was a wonderful experience for everyone. We had the honor of bringing the larg-est number of people amongst the various con-gregations represented. It is a blessing to continue the rich tradition of working with our international students for over 50 years here in Stillwater.

NEWS AND NOTES

JOB WELL DONE… The Stillwater congregation collected 210 Pies to donate to the Annual Thanksgiving dinner at the Community Center this year. Thank you for your support by contributing the pies once again.

Also, the Benevolence Ministry assembled 25 Thanksgiving Food Baskets to provide 25 families from our community with a wonderful Thanksgiving meal this year. We are grateful that Mohammad, owner of Granny’s Kitchen, donated hot rolls and 25 pies to complete the dinner baskets. Thank you again for all the financial support as well as the physical labor to make these gift baskets possible.
