06 WORLDWIDE PERFECTION INPEPPER HARVESTING SYSTEMSBuitendijk-Slaman offers two different harvesting systems for peppers.With the bottom unloading system, you take the picking bin on the trolley and empty it on the concrete path in a collection bin. The collection bin will be transported to the grading area and will be buffered or tipped. With the OPTIBIN system, you are ensured of the optimal combination between labour saving, ergonomic work position and damage-free harvesting. The optibins are fixed with a special designed moving bottom with soft foam and the inside of the bin is completely covered with Teflon. The bins are completely transported to the grading area where they are buffered, or fast and gently tipped onto the feeding conveyor of the grading machine. Your peppers will not damage during this whole process.
