Man, we love to travel!

There’s wanderlust in most of us. The lure of travelling to newplaces was, is and always will draw us with its power of newexperiences. But very few can afford to do so. Not anymore.

Google Earth has opened a virtual treasure trove of exoticcities, lost jungles, towering mountains, crystal seas, mystic lakes and majestic natural and manmade marvels to billions of computer users.

It’s fascinating. It’s addictive. It’s an opportunity waiting to be tapped…. for Mother Earth!

The modus operandi

• Registration will be free, and done on the contest website. Individual or team profiles will be created by the participants.

• The contest will be on for a period of 2 weeks, with each day a landmark.

• Once participants sign up, they get daily clues on where to go, what to do, what to find, what to note etc. by email/SMS.

• As they continue to travel, they will be required to record their tour (on ) and fill in daily reports on the contest website.

The modus operandi (contd.)

• As they progress, certain hints, pointers etc. will be provided on etc. which the participant will need to follow to collect more points and proceed further.

• Cryptic clues to places will be given, for which participants will use to find the right answer.

• Extra points will also be given to participants who manage to detour a bit and discover interesting, yet lesser known places (volcanoes, deserts, lakes) etc. which they need to add as a part of their daily online journal.

Going green is rewarding

• Assorted prizes will be given for weekly landmarks. With the stakes getting higher each week, the value of prizes will also be raised.

• Assorted prizes: desktop computers, laptops, computer gear, GPS navigator, free unlimited broadband connection, mountain bikes etc.
