Introduction The following release notes are for the June 2015 install of WorldCat Discovery Services scheduled for June 11th. This release includes some highly requested enhancements and addresses some bugs reported by our users.
Include Request ID with problem reports When reporting an issue with WorldCat Discovery, it would be extremely helpful to include the Request ID. The Request ID is found on the bottom of the screen on which the issue occurred. Including this information allows us to directly trace what happened on the particular request we are troubleshooting.

New Features and Enhancements Improvements to display of availability information with notes In response to user requests, we’ve enhanced the availability display by suppressing the Notes: label when there is no note associated with that particular item.

Facet improvements to display format and topic hierarchically Based on feedback from the WorldCat Discovery community we have made improvements to the Format and Topic facets. We now display these two facets hierarchically instead of a flat list of results by highest number of hits. See screen displays below for more detail.
Temporary location shelving location For WorldShare Management Services libraries we have integrated the temporary shelving location information with our June release. This is a highly requested enhancement for our WMS libraries.

Bug fixes Editions & Formats: sorting and continuous spinning We have addressed two issues reported on Editions & Formats: sorting of editions not displaying the editions held by the library first, and, continuous spinning on some records when Editions & Formats selected. The screen shot below shows the fix in our development environment now showing editions in reverse chronological order beginning with those held by your library or level 1 relevancy group.
Institution display names with comma or slash fixed We have corrected the display name in the WorldCat Discovery user interface (over the search box) where they contain a comma or a slash. You will now be able to enter names with either character in OCLC Service Configuration and have it display properly. This setting is found in My WorldCat.org > Relevancy and Scoping > OCLC symbols that represent your institution, as shown below.

Author facet, names with diacritics We have corrected an issue where selecting an author from the Author facet area resulted in an error, no results found. You may now select these authors from the facet area and have a successful result set.

This is a list of new databases added to the central index since our last update.
The central index provides content for WorldCat Discovery, WorldCat Local and WorldCat.org.
You can enable these databases as search options in the Licensed Content and Databases module of the OCLC Service Configuration site. Please remember that your library must have a valid subscription to these databases in order to enable them.
Please find below and in the attached document the database names, providers, and database ids for reference. Documentation of the complete list of databases and their IDs is available at http://www.oclc.org/content/dam/oclc/worldcat-discovery/contentlist.xls
