The planning of the World Trauma Congress is moving ahead very quickly. The Congress has received support of
many distinguished trauma as well as surgical and medical professional organizations, which attests for its
global reach: American Association for the Surgery of Trauma (AAST), Australasian Trauma Society, Committee
on Trauma - American College of Surgeons, European Society for Trauma and Emergency Surgery (ESTES),
International Association for Trauma Surgery and Intensive Care (IATSIC), Israel Trauma Society, Japanese
Society for the Acute Care Surgery (JSACS), Panamerican Trauma Society (PTS), Trauma Association of Canada
(TAC), Trauma Society of South Africa, Colégio Brasileiro de Cirurgiões (CBC), Sociedade Brasileira de Angiologia
e de Cirurgia Vascular (SBACV) and others.
In addition to a vibrant scientific program, free papers and abstracts for poster sessions and oral presentations
may be submitted online to the scientific committee.
