Biological/Chemical
Use of chemical warfare commenced in WW1 with use of mustard gas. Israel fired phosphorous bombs against LebanonBiological war is the use of deadly germs. Not widespread due to difficulty to control. Example is anthrax. Often linked to possible terrorist acts.

Terrorism
Used to promote fear amongst a population concerning the possibility of an attack. Not always associated with a state of warUsually carried out by small extremist groups.Sept 11, Bali, London, MadridIRA, Al Qaeda, Jemah Islameeh

Civil War
When the domestic population of a country is divided and fighting each other.Usually fought for control of the country.American, Vietnam
