Caring Communities is delighted to bring you this very exciting disabilities,caregiver event, a consumer exposition that is offered to the public inBaltimore, MD. World of Possibilities Expo is dedicated to improving the livesof children and adults with disabilities, all seniors, their families and care-givers, as well as health care and education professionals.

This Expo will provide an opportunity for attendees to explore a vast arrayof products and services such as: assistive and adaptive technology, durablemedical equipment, computer software, senior services, mobility products,living aids and more all conveniently displayed to see, touch, and comparein a "one-stop shopping" experience. This will give individuals who do nottypically have easy access to comparison shopping a hands-on opportunityto try devices and speak directly to equipment representatives about theproducts and services. World of Possibilities will also offer informativedemonstrations, and representatives from local and statewide agencies/organizations to assist the disabilities and senior communities in gainingmore information about supports, services and resources that they mayneed now or in the future.

Caring Communities, Inc. is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization which offersdisability-related training, education, publications, and events for the benefitof children and adults with disabilities, their families and caregivers, as well ashealthcare and education professionals. Our efforts will enhance the quality oflife regardless of the nature or severity of the disability; empower individualswith disabilities to achieve economic self-sufficiency and independentliving and; promote inclusion to enjoy full participation in society.

Caring Communities has now grown into a well known and widely respected service organization offering disability-related activities andevents for thousands within the entire disabilities and senior communitiesin Maryland. Our events and services include: the World of Possibilities Expo,the Caring Kit, the Caring Network and local respite care trainings. Our publi-cations include the World of Possibilities Lifestyle Disabilities Magazine andthe About Our Family respite care workbook.

It is my pleasure to congratulate Caring Communities and the 9th annual Worldof Possibilities Expo. For over 12 years, Caring Communities has sought to addressthe needs of so many individuals in our State, and for that we owe this organization our gratitude. Caring Communities and the World of PossibilitiesExpo connect so many of our neighbors to vital services and information. Thanksto the efforts of so many caring parents, care providers and volunteers, over 400people have been trained to provide essential respite care services to Marylandfamilies through the Caring Network.

As we work towards a better, stronger Maryland, we have tremendous progresson which to build. We have taken action on important initiatives to empower ourneighbors and improve our quality of life.

Together, united in the dignity of every individual and in our responsibility toadvance the common good, we are building the One Maryland we hold in ourhearts.
