We introduce a variety of approaches to wireless technology, researched by KDDI R&D Laboratories, Inc.・Flexible mobile device utilizing multiple wireless access paths from neighbor devices・“Sound Insight” - Information Delivery Platform with Audible/Inaudible Sound Communication・E-mail delivery system through Unmanned Aircraft in disaster areas・Developing 40 GHz and 60 GHz wave-based high-throughput wireless access network

NEC will exhibit 1） iPASOLINK EX, iPAOSLINK SX and iPASOLINK UX these are all outdoor radio. 2） the concept of Massive MIMO, MEC and NFV C-RAN which flexibility contribute to 5G’s high-speed, capacity, ultra-low latency and massive device connections essential to social innovation.

NTT DOCOMO will exhibit and explain the latest achievements in our cutting-edge R&D for mobile communication technologies. We will introduce “Advanced Centralized Radio Access Network,” which enables Carrier Aggregation with 3.5GHz TD-LTE to be rolled out in June this year. We will also introduce Network Functions Virtualization （NFV）, which has been commercially deployed in our network since March this year, and our efforts for IoT （Internet of Things） deployments.

NICT will introduce the latest R&D results through demonstrations of practical technologies for wireless communications, social ICT utilization and various applications to support the ICT in 2020’s society, such as 5G, IoT, Terahertz-wave communication, Robots/Drones, Next-generation satellite communications, Positioning and Multi-lingual speech translation.

NTT will exhibit “Wide-area and high-capacity IoT/M2M wireless relay system” for metering networks, “Millimeter-wave high-speed close proximity transmission system” to enable instantaneous high-volume content transfer, and “Cooperative wireless LAN system” for IEEE 802.11ac wave1 Access Point.
