AixACCT exhibiting at the ECC and ISAF conferences and Semicon Europe
New products and new features of existing products will be presented at ECC XIII in The Netherlands and at ISAF in Portugal. AixACCT Systems will exhibit at the two major conferences this year, both held in Europe. During the ECC conference organized by Guus Rijnders and held at the University of Twente we will introduce our NEW measurement system and do live demo on our TF Analyzer 3000 system which is a high speed system with 16 bit resolution. The system has a complete new hardware and software. The NEW software plattform aixPlorer 3.0 offers extended testing flexibility and gives more insight into mate-rial properties than any other test system.

New measurement system TF Analyzer 3000
AixACCT Systems presents its new hardware platform TF ANALYZER 3000, a 16 bit resolution high speed system is the new standard in testing. The hardware is available in different configurations and will be assembled according to the requirements of the measurement task. Various independent output and in-put channels can be configured in order to serve all kind of requirements. Beside electrical excitation other environmental excitation signals like force, temperature or magnetic field can be used. Applications like Energy Harvesting, Multiferroics and Pyroelectrics can be served with these innovations and many others.
AMACE under new software design aixPlorer 3.0
AixACCT Measurement And Characterization Equipment (AMACE) runs under a new software design called aixPlorer 3.0. The aixPlorer offers high flexibility in order to allow researchers to really explore their materials and to gain deep insight into the material properties. Beside the high flexibility new charac-terization methods like measuring e31, f and h31 for energy harvesting, POM ( poling measurement) and TRT (treatment) are offered. In addition to these new measurement methods aixACCT can easily create new measurement methods. “ We are well prepared to serve special requirements of our clients by this new feature. It is an internal software tool, that allows us to quickly react to customer requirements, wi-thout waiting for the next software release. This is a breakthrough in flexibility and a big win for the users of our software.” , says Bernd Reichenberg head of software development at aixACCT Systems.

AixACCT has become an independent test lab
AixACCT Systems has become an independent test lab for comprehensive characterization of piezoelec-tric MEMS as well well as for material qualification of bulk ceramics, HIFU transducers and multilayer actuators. A large number of industry companies use aixACCT characterization facilities for detailed in-vestigation of material properties or for quality control of materials that are supplied by third parties. Cu-stomers receive a detailed report on the test results, if required with interpretation of the same. The test la-boratory comprises all of the standard products of aixACCT: TF ANALYZER, aixDBLI, aix4PB, aixPES and aixCMA. For feasibility studies aixACCT builds customized test set up in order to keep investments small for its clients.
Piezoelectric Transducer Test Bench - AixPTTBAixACCT Systems has designed a new tool for bulk ceramic and multilayer actuator testing. Within a single system both type of devices can be investigated under mechanical stress conditions at temperatures up to 200°C. Pure electrical, pure mechanical or combined electrical and mechanical excitation profiles can be used. This Piezoelectric Transducer Test Bench (PTTB) is the most flexible test system in the market. It allows to test materials for energy harvesting, electrical and electromechanical applications or electrical excitation with varying mechanical stress.

Customized Test Bench for Single Fiber Composites
AixACCT Systems has designed a customized test bench for single fiber composite testing. Standard cha-racterization is available but also blocking force measurement in the mN range. This is the first commerci-ally available test bench for this technology. Again customers have trusted into the competence of ai-xACCT and its ability to build unique customized solutions. This time a metrology lab has ordered a test bench to perform round robin characterization of single fiber composites with the challenge of testing blocking force on these devices.
New test system for welding industry
AixACCT has build in cooperation with the Institute of Joining at RWTH University of Aachen a unique test system to determine the beam quality of a high energy electron beam. The system has been al-ready demonstrated to the market in March 2012. The benefit of this tool is to establish machine to machine comparability of the welding profile of the high energy electron beam. Therefore the welding in-dustry worldwide, especially the aerospace industry which needs to fulfil special quality criteria of their welding processes pays attention to this new product.
The combination between scientific background and our experience in production environment helped us to solve this challenging task within a bit more than a year.
