World Children’s Day ECSAT celebrated World Children’s Day on October 3 rd with an event called Butterfly Wishes. The afternoon started with all children dancing as butterflies and this was a colourful and joyous sight of colour and movement. Many children wore butterfly wings and everyone was dressed in beautiful shiny and sparkling colours. World Children’s Day

ECSAT celebrated World Children’s Day on October 3rd with an event called

Butterfly Wishes.

The afternoon started with all children dancing as butterflies and this was

a colourful and joyous sight of colour and movement. Many children wore

butterfly wings and everyone was dressed in beautiful shiny and sparkling

colours. Gayani, the Project Coordinator, invited all the children to join one of

the four groups creating the life cycle of the butterfly.

The completed life cycle was displayed round a tree for everyone to admire.

telling the story of having fun with

their friends.

butterflies and children

Children each had a piece of a

large cake to celebrate all their

birthdays.

Roshan, the Programme Director,

gave a vote of thanks to the

children and parents for their

support, Blue Fox hotel for the

use of their hotel and Hikka Tranz for donating the sound system, refreshments

and gifts. The event ended with the children receiving gifts.
