Know the Process Keep the end in mind

There are 6 levels of contests that decides the final top 3 in the World. At each level only 10% of contestants believe they can achieve, are really committed and is determined to follow through. The commitment and belief of the contestants tapers off at each level. Most contestants come unprepared or without a systematic approach and strategic plan at each level. If you fail to plan, you plan to fail. If you show up with commitment and prepare to win your chances to succeed at each level grows exponentially no matter where you start.

Core Idea: There are lot of experiences you had in your life. It could be something you experienced personally or something you read about or something you heard about from someone. There are lessons you learned from those experiences. Many of those are valuable speech ideas that can be used to craft a speech that inspires and resonate. Your Job: Collect those experiences into speech ideas using ERP. ERP stands for Experience – Resources – Payoff.

Your first job is to prepare a list of your ERPs. Make this a habit.
