It’s growing faster than the speed of a 4G connection.
No one can blink without it these days. From PCs in
offices to Blackberrys from laptops to tablets, every bit
of hardware comes with a connectivity application that
takes you to the most “hit” sites in the e-world, the
Social Media. Such is its reach and popularity that
Hollywood even made a movie about it. It’s cool, it’s
hip, it’s the marketer’s ultimate selling tool, Social
Media is the most stimulating global phenomenon
since the Beatles!
Every brand worth its B wants to B on it. B2B ventures
thrive on feedback from it as do housewifes at home,
or teenagers in college. Celebrities can’t seem to live
without it. They are on Facebook, MySpace, Twitter
and what have you, and the word glitterati coined in
the 90’s seems to have made a new twist, Twitterati!
Online brand reputation and boosting customer
engagement and loyalty will get the e-edge on Social
Media. Name the brand, and it has a page on the
social networking websites. In fact every savvy
businessman, whether in service provision, or in the
FMCG sector or even in hardcore manufacturing arena,
has a micro-link on their websites to the respective
Sosial Media. Such is the impact that top companies
often ask for LinkedIn profiles over the traditional CV’s!
In this pertinent and timely summit and workshop, the
organizers are stringing together prominent speakers,
bloggers and Social Media practitioners from various
industries, all under one roof. We bring them as “hard
copies” to share their best practices and knowledge
as to ensure the participants take away thought
provoking and innovative ideas in this gargantuan
domain called Social Media.
