Workshops, musical performances and curated talks to inspire visitors at Abu Dhabi Art - Third day of Abu Dhabi Art 2016 continues to offer visitors memorable experiences - Abu Dhabi, 17 November 2016: Held under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, Abu Dhabi Art will continue to offer extraordinary artistic experiences at Manarat Al Saadiyat tomorrow (Friday). The third day of Abu Dhabi Art will present a selection of engaging workshops and performances that will ensure a memorable experience for visitors of all ages. Majlis Fann Majlis Fann continues a substantial programme of talks and book launches with Multaqa Zayed National Museum “GCC Museums in Conversation.” Moderated by Salma Al Shamsi, the talk will invite representatives from museums within the Gulf region to share experiences and exchange knowledge. Auditorium, Manarat Al Saadiyat, 4:00pm – 5:00pm. Two of the most influential artists in art world, Director of Haus der Kunst Okwui Enwezor and architect and designer David Adjaye, will engage in artistic conversation and impart insightful knowledge to their audience, and with it conclude Majlis Fann activities for Friday. Forces, Abu Dhabi Art will continue to offer extraordinary artistic experiences at Manarat Al Saadiyat

Majlis Fann

Majlis Fann continues a substantial programme of talks and book launches with Multaqa Zayed

Performed by Abri & Funk Radius, the UAE-based band, a two hour and a half performance of funk,

reggae neo-soul R&B music will entrance the senses of Abu Dhabi Art fair-goers in an unmissable

musical event.

Durub Al Tawaya, curated by Tarek Aboul Fotouh is set to continue their variety of performances

with “The View,” an astounding performance by visual artist Miet Warlop and featuring celebrated

performer Paola Zampierolo.

Atrium at Manarat Al Saadiyat, 3:00pm – 3:30pm

Challenging convention and experimenting with a unique style of performance, virtual humanoid

singer Hatsune Miku will entertain an audience with a live opera concert titled “THE END on the

Beach,” a visual masterpiece conceived by ATAK Dance hall composers including Keiichiro

Shibuya.

Asia de Cuba, Nation Riviera, Corniche, Abu Dhabi, 10:30pm – 00:00am

Workshops and tours

Gateway – (Re) Birth and Beyond will present an exclusive walk through tour by curator Fabrice

Bousteau in a unique opportunity to experience the exhibits through the eyes of an influential

international leader in the world of art.

Gallery Hall 2, Manarat Al Saadiyat, 2:00pm – 3:00pm.

Engaging hands-on workshops for children aged eight years and below will invite budding young

artists to create works inspired by Abu Dhabi Art, while guided tours will highlight current trends in

the world of art for the duration of the fair.

Abu Dhabi Art Gallery Halls, Manarat Al Saadiyat, 2:00pm – 9pm daily.
