MORNING WORKSHOPS
Warm Up Games and ABC’s
This workshop will focus on generic warm up games that can be used across a variety of sports and age ranges. It will be a practical workshop giving ideas for fun new activities. There will also be a focus on agility, balance and co-ordination activities and their importance across all sports.

This workshop will allow coaches to discover fun and simple ways to develop strength and conditioning in their athletes during regular club sessions.

Multi Sport- Time to ListenAimed at Club Welfare Officers
The course aims to support the Welfare Officer to:-Acquire core knowledge and develop essential skills to fulfil their role and responsibilities.-Adopt a child-focused approach to safeguarding.-Share good practice and learn from others in the same role.All participants need to have attended a Safeguarding and Protecting Children workshop prior to attending Time to Listen.

Sports Psychology 10 Psychological Concepts to Challenge your Coaching Practices
The workshop will be positive and interactive, with the aim of challenging you to introduce psychological tools and techniques into your day to day coaching practice. Areas addressed include communication, performance confidence, focus and dealing with distraction, deliberate practice and incorporating models of counselling into sessions. www.danabrahams.com

Club Matters- Club Structure and Finance
This workshop covers the importance of your club structure, an overview of different legal structures, top tips for becoming incorporated, selecting the best status for your club, including CASC, charities and CIO’s and getting to grips with gift aid. It also covers exercises to help you easily review and understand your club accounts, demystifying accounting concepts, ideas to help you improve your clubs finances and methods to help you to communicate your clubs finances effectively.

First Aid Part 1Emergency First Aid with Sports Focus
This full day course covers a wide range of First Aid emergencies, enabling all participants to deal with an emergency situation with confidence in a prompt, safe and effective way. Please note you must also attend the 1.30-4.30 workshop to qualify.

Safeguarding & Protecting Children
This workshop will raise your awareness of the tell-tale signs of abuse and poor practice and give you the tools you need to deal with any issues sensitively, appropriately and effectively should the need ever arise in your coaching career.

Describe how children change physically during growth. Understand the difference in psychological, social, physical and legal age. Explain how children respond to exercise and acquire skills including learning styles and coaching styles. Children’s motives for participation in sport. How to Deliver an Engaging Session to Adults
Learn about new participants’ needs including how to build their self-confidence, helping you to recruit and retain new participants to your sessions, find out about the ‘C’* system of coaching and learn how to include them in your coaching through the use of practical examples and be able to use relevant adapted planning material for both longer-term and session planning.

England Netball Activate- Attacking
This course will examine the qualities of an attacking player and will explore the methods a player can utilise to get free. The workshop will address set ups, first and second phase options in a range of game situations. The cues an attacker should attend and respond to will be a feature of the workshop with a particular emphasis on the centre pass.
