T. Road, Kolkata 700108 Objective This workshop will primarily provide an overview of statistical methods that play very significant roles in DATA ANALYTICS. The topics include Regression Analysis, Categorical Data Analysis, Time Series Analysis, Resampling Methods, Model Selection, Machine Learning Methodology (supervised/unsupervised). Dimentionality Reduction and Survival Analysis may also be covered. Implementation of these techniques using R will also be discussed. Focus will be on interpretation and computation rather than on theoretical details. Who can apply Research Fellows and Faculty (Preferably below the age of 40 years) from Universities/ Colleges/ Institutes located anywhere in India who are working or planning to work in the areas of Business Analytics and/or Machine Learning Professionals (Preferably below the age of 40 years) working in the areas of Business Analytics and/or Machine Learning Participants MUST be post- graduate degree holders in Statistics/Mathematics/ Computer Science / other related areas with a working knowledge of Statistical Analysis and Computing.
