WORKSHOP ON DATA ANALYSIS TOOLS FOR RESEARCH
University Institute of Teachers Training and Research & University School of Business, Chandigarh University in
collaboration with the Dept. Of Science and Technology, New Delhi is going to organize a 5 days “Workshop on
st thResearch Methodology & Statistics” from 1 to 5 December-2014. This workshop is designed to impart knowledge on
Research Methodology in the context of qualitative and quantitative research along-with training in advanced
Statistical packages (including SPSS) across the various fields of Research. The workshop predominantly follows the
Research Methodology Syllabus designed by the Chandigarh University.

1. Preparation of research proposal – giving basic training how to conceive a sound
research Proposal.
2. Data Processing and analysis – techniques – how to read the data and how to interpret t h e
data, etc.
3. Preparation of the report – how to write the final research report, etc.
4. Skill on Imparting SPSS.
5. Writing Workshop to prepare the participants to publish papers in journals.o f t h e W o r k s h o p
How to applyth
Interested candidates can apply to Course Coordinator along with duly filled up registration form on before 29
November, 2014. Registration form can also be downloaded from the University website, http://www.cuchd.in/.
Advanced copy of application may be send to the Course Coordinator of the Workshop through mail/hand/Scan.
Such application should be followed by hard copy of the application along with registration form.
Registration Fee : Registration fee for the participants is INR 1000.
Time & Venue
The Workshop will be conducted during The Lecture, Labs are scheduled in three st th1 to 5 December-2014.

Snacks & Lunch will be provided at the Venue.
Accommodation Accommodation will be provided to the outstation participants (on paid basis).
