Andrea HartranftLighting Designer/LC, IALD

Andrea è titolare dello studio HartranftLighting Design, LLC. Ha conseguito unalaurea in Ingegneria architettonica nellaPennsylvania State University e possiede30 anni di vasta esperienza di design eproject management in illuminazione esistemi di controllo per progetticommerciali, istituzionali e industriali.Ha ricevuto premi internazionali dilighting design da IALD (InternationalAssociation of Lighting Designers) e daIES (Illuminating Engineering Society).È Presidente della IALD EducationTrust, giá presidente dello IALD AwardsCommittee e di IES Progress ReportCommittee, e ha insegnato lightingdesign (fondamenti e corsi avanzati) e alCorcoran College di Art + Design.Andrea è stata relatrice sulle questionilegate all'illuminazione in istitutisuperiori e università, ha tenutopresentazioni per Enlighten Americas2007,2008, 2016, diretto workshop diprogettazione durante la IES Conferencein 2010, 2014 and 2015 e per l'AIA(American Institute of Architects) nel2016, ed è anche stata workshop head perLights in Alingsas 2015.

Andrea is the principal of Hartranft Lighting Design, LLC and has 30 years of extensive design and project management experience in lighting and control systems for commercial, institutional and industrial projects and holds a degree in Architectural Engineering from The Pennsylvania State University. She has received international lighting design awards from the International Association of Lighting Designers ( I A L D ) a n d t h e I l l u m i n a t i n g Engineering Society (IES). She is President of the IALD Education Trust, past Chair of the I ALD Awards Committee and the IES Progress Report C o m m i t t e e , a n d t a u g h t fundamental/advanced lighting design at the Corcoran College of Art + Design. Andrea has spoken on lighting issues at local colleges and Universities, provided presentations on lighting for Enlighten Americas 2007,2008, 2016, conducted d e s i g n w o r k s h o p s f o r t h e I E S Conference in 2010, 2014 and 2015 and the AIA in 2016, and was a workshop head for Lights in Alingsas 2015.

Giacomo RossiLighting Designer/APIL

Insegna nella facoltà di Architettura, Disegno Industriale del Politecnico di Milano ed altre scuole private, tra cui IED (Istituto Europeo di Design) e ISAD (Istituto Superiore di Architettura e Design). Nel 2007 fonda Luxemozione.com, primo blog italiano interamente dedicato al mondo dell' illuminazione ed è' autore di articoli su riviste del settore. Dal 2013, assieme ad altri colleghi, gestisce il gruppo su Facebook Italian Lighting Design Promotion Group, volto alla promozione della figura del lighting designer e della cultura del progetto della luce.Dal 2014 è parte del Consiglio Direttivo di APIL - Associazione dei Professionisti dell'Illuminazione. Nel 2016 apre, assieme ad altri colleghi, LDT-Lighting Design Team, studio multidisciplinare di progetta-zione della luce.

He teaches lighting design at Politecnico in Milan and other design schools, such as IED “Istituto Europeo di Design” and ISAD “Istituto Superiore di Architettura e Design ”.In 2007, he founded Luxemozione.com the first Italian blog about lighting design topics. In 2013, with other colleagues, he established the forum Italian Lighting Design Promotion Group on Facebook, for raising awareness about lighting design topics. Since 2014 he is a Council Member of APIL – Associazione dei Professionisti dell'Illuminazione (Italian Association of Lighting Professionals). He also writes articles for lighting design magazines. In 2016 he founded, with other lighting designers, LDT Lighting Design Team, a multidisciplinary studio of Lighting Design.

Marco PalandellaLighting Designer/APIL, già PLDA

Nato a Casale Monferrato (AL) nel 1975, riceve formazione ingegneristica elettrica e lavora sin da praticante in progetti di diversi in Italia ed all'estero. Inizia la carriera come lighting designer indipendente, affrontando progetti legati ad edifici di pregio storico ed artistico che gli valgono alcuni riconoscimenti in concor si internazionali.E ' p r o f e s s o r e d i “ t e c n i c h e d i illuminazione” all'Università SUPSI di Lugano/CH. E' anche membro della commissione “Luce ed Illuminazione” di UNI (Ente Italiano di Normazione). Lavora per committenti pubblici e privati, in Italia ed all'estero, con una spiccata vocazione per l'illuminazione in ambito beni culturali.

Born in Casale Monferrato in 1975 and educated as an electrical engineer, after his graduation has practiced for several years in various scale projects in Italy and abroad. He started to work as a lighting designer on several illumination projects of artistic and historic sites; in public venues, he was awarded with important prizes and gained national recognition. He is member in the composition of“Light and Lighting” of UNI (Italian National Association for Standardi-zation).He is currently professor in Lighting techniques at university of Lugano SUPSI Switzerland, Bachelor of Arts in Interior Design.

Zhang LinLighting Designer

È Professore Associato alla CUC (Communication University of China) di Pechino e docente nella specializzazione in Light Design. Ha conseguito la laurea in Lighting Design presso The Central Academy of Drama (Accademia Centrale di Arte Drammatica) e, nella stessa istituzione, ha conseguito il Master in Stage Design. Dal 1998 al 2005, Lin ha lavorato a tempo p i e n o c o m e l i g h t i n g d e s i g n e r professionista alla Beijing Opera Company di Pechino. Nel 2005 ha iniziato a lavorare alla Communication University of China. É stato visiting scholar presso la Nottingham Trent University nel Regno Unito ed ha studiato Architectural Lighting Design all'Università di Wismar in Germania. Nel 2013 viene costituito lo Zhang Lin' Light Environment Studio alla Scuola di Cinema e Arti Cinematografiche in CUC. Nel 2016 viene fondato il Light Design Application Research Center presso la C U C e n e d i v i e n e d i r e t t o r e . Zhang Lin è vice-Presidente della ACSC ( I l l u m i n a t i o n A r t C o m m i t t e e o f Architecture and Culture Society of China - Società Cinese e Comitato Arte Illuminazione in Architettura e Cultura).

Zhang Lin is Associate Professor at CUC(Communication University of China)and teacher of the Light Designqualification. He received his bachelor'sdegree in Stage Lighting Design fromThe Central Academy of Drama and hereceived his master's degree in StageD e s i g n i n t h e s a m e s c h o o lFrom 1998 to 2005, Lin worked asprofessional lighting designer in BeijingO p e r a C o m p a n y i n B e i j i n g .In 2005, he began workin in CUC. Heh a d b e e n a v i s i t i n g s c h o l a r i nNottingham Trent University/UK andthen he studied Architectural LightingD e s i g n i n W i s m a r U n i v e r s i t y /Germany.In 2013 Zhang Lin' Light EnvironmentStudio was established in the School ofFilm and Cinematic Arts in CUC.I n 2 0 1 6 t h e C U C L i g h t D e s i g nApplication Research Center wasfounded and he became the director.Nowadays he is the Vice-President of theI l l u m i n a t i o n A r t C o m m i t t e e o fArchitecture and Culture Society ofChina.
