Walk; Don't Run

Buddy Romantic Sex Comedy

After discovering that the athlete's village basically turns into a giant orgy during the Olympics, a self-absorbed schemer must impersonate a Canadian racewalker to infiltrate the village or risk losing out on the summer of his life.

Hot Tub Time Machine, Hangover, American Pie, Blades of Glory,

Brian

Kyle, Q.B. Bills

Things get messy as Brian hits a kink in his plans to have the perfect summer.

Brian decides instead to join a friend who is working at the Olympic games in Colombia. They soon discover that the athlete's village becomes an endorphine-fueled ogy. They invade. Hijinks ensue.

Romantic subplot. While posing as Canadian racewalker Timmy Simmons, Brian encounters Celia--lovely Celia. C Plot (runner) - The real Timmy Simmons has been taken, via kidnapping taxi, to work on Senor Delgado's cocoa plantation. Things do not go well. Hijinks ensue.

During a confrontation with Timmy Simmons's old rival, Kyle Thoonderblaz, Brian learns that Timmy Simmons's event is in two days. The clock is ticking--he needs to leave the country...Right?

Brian's come clean about who he really is--and the picture's not pretty. He's lost his friend Mark to the Bacchanalia of the athlete's village, and he is once again about to take the easy way out, a plane headed back home.

After a heartwrenching scene with a breadstick (yep), Brian realizes conciously what he has known for so long deep down--that he is weak, that being with Celia has made him want to become a better man. He can't run away now.

Brian returns to the Olympics and racewalks as Timmy Simmons --who to this point has not returned--in order to prove to Celia, the world, and most importantly himself that he is a person who can do the right thing, the hard thing.

Brian learns that the easy way is not the only way. That sometimes the hard way is the right way and the only way that is good and just--even if it's more than a little fucked up in this case.
