happen while an employee is at work can be taken care of quickly and efficiently with a properly stocked first aid kit. ‣New hires should know where first aid kits can be found throughout the work area and what types of injuries can receive proper medical help with contents found in a first aid kit.

Ergonomics training is primarily for new hires who work in office settings. Proper ergonomics, such as sitting appropriately in an office chair to avoid back pain or preventing carpel tunnel syndrome by using a computer keyboard correctly, can avert worker compensation claims and missed work days.
