Workplace Health Programme


• To raise awareness of WHP through various outreach and engagement

platforms.

• To encourage the establishment and implementation of WHPP.

• To forge strong collaboration among government agencies, trade unions,

associations and WHP service providers in working towards shaping a

healthier workforce.

Role of SNEF Workplace Health Team


What We Do? • Provide advice, resources and information services to workplaces to

implement a WHPP.

• Evaluate progress of company’s existing WHP programme and propose

recommendations to achieve their WHP goals.

• Provide WHP training courses, talks, workshops and educational seminars.

• Provide extensive network of partnering agencies and service providers to

keep abreast of the latest workplace health trends, guidelines and

incentives schemes.

• The WHP Grant helps companies to start or expand/ sustain their workplace health promotion

programmes

• To encourage companies to focus their WHP programmes on national priority conditions

• More funding allocated to targeted intervention programmes and mental health programmes

Women’s Cancer Screening

Recommended that at least 50% of total

approved Grant be used for the following

screening tests:

Mammogram for breast cancer screening (for

women aged 50 years and above)

Pap Smear for cervical cancer screening (for

women aged 25 years and above)

Only for Singaporeans and PRs

Education & Empowerment HPB approved talks on women’s health and

wellbeing.

These includes sought after topics such as

parenting and health tips for the family, women’s

Workplace Infectious Disease Education Programme

1) FREE one hour talk – covering the signs and symptoms of HIV, TB and

Influenza and the approach to managing them.

2) FREE Interactive Exhibits – where companies can house these at their

premise for one week.

3) FREE Resources – such as pamphlets and brochures

4) Mobile Testing Van – anonymous testing van be parked in your company

premise for 3 to 5 hours

5) Flu Vaccination – to be carried out in your company premise at $18 per

employee


6. Flu Buster Kit

To encourage personal hygiene and initiate a healthy culture in workplaces

• Minimum employment size of 100

• Evaluation after 6 months
