Get to know them.
• Tip: Headhunter does not equal recruiter.
• Include recruiters as one component in your overall career strategy.
• Tip: Try to find ways to reach out when you don’t need them.

• When you ARE interested in a specific job you see listed on a recruiter’s website – and it’s a good match for your skills – reach out.
• Tip: Don’t apply to more than one job with each recruiter

• First step: screening call. Be ready to answer why you are a fit for this position.
• Tip: Do your homework from the beginning.

• Comply with all requests in the posting • Get someone else to proof it
