Scenery, Set Dressing, Props Creates believable environment for
the program Scenery = the world around you (walls,
furniture, trees) Set Dressing = visual and design
elements (lamps, rugs, pictures on the wall)
Props = anything touched by the actors, other than furniture Exception – if a piece of furniture is used
for a purpose other than its intended use
Costumes and Make-up
Make the actors look like the characters they portray
Ensure best possible appearance on tv screen
