Overview - Entering Payroll Information– Provides the user with the most pertinent information directly on the
dashboard to quickly help them determine whether to submit their payroll or continue to “edit” data.
Company ID Bar– Shows current schedule information
– Shows “where in the cycle” the payroll is With ability to “move forward” in the cycle (i.e., Submit Payroll)
– Shows all menu items via “pull down” Quick Links available (e.g., view payroll schedule)
Employee Updates– Data Cards will display number of New Hires, number of Employees with
Changes, number of Terminated employees Drill down capabilities will show additional detail (verify input)
Quick Links will support functions like “Add a New Hire”

Payroll Input (Pay Data)
– Data Cards will display total hours and total earnings
Drill down capabilities will go directly to Pay-Data Summary and Pay-Data Full “reports” for quick on-screen viewing
Up to four batches will also display on data cards with the same “drill down” capabilities. Note –drill down will “pre-filter/pre-sort” the “reports”
Quick Links to Add a New Batch, and view All Batches will be available
– Shows all menu items via “pull down”
Quick Links available (e.g., view payroll schedule)
Dashboard Alerts
– Specific payroll messages will be prominent on the dashboard for items that potentially could affect the payroll – examples:
Batches out of balance
New schedule has been loaded
Incomplete Quick Calc requests are in the system
Incomplete New Hires are in the system

Input Summary
– Data coins will display prominent values for the following:
Active hourly employees without pay data entries
Inactive employees with pay data entries
Employees with automatic pay cancelled
– As with data cards, the coins will show the number of employees and “drill down” capabilities will take the user to the detailed list of employees and so forth
– Data Links
Other key payroll information is provided to help users determine if they are ready to submit their payroll
Examples being:
– Number of manual checks
– Number of employee transfers
– Accumulator Adjustments
User Checklist
– A user managed checklist is provided to enter and track tasks/reminders during the payroll cycle
– Client customizable

Overview - Reviewing Results– Provide the user with the most pertinent information
needed to accept or reject the payroll directly from the dashboard Dashboard changes context once the payroll is submitted (i.e.,
moving one step forward in the payroll cycle)
Statistical Summary– Company liability will be the most prominently displayed
item on this dashboard. Additional details from the “stat summary” will also be displayed
to help the user determine whether to accept or reject the payroll
Comparisons to prior payrolls will be available “one click away” to help the user notice if this specific payroll in “out of the ordinary”

Warnings and Messages– The dashboard will provide these messages from both the Statistical
Summary and the Payroll Register A section of this dashboard will be allocated to these messages – with the appropriate drill
down capabilities
Accept Payroll – The ability to accept (or reject) the payroll will be prominently displayed along
with “where the company is in the cycle” right on the dashboard. user can then “Start Next Payroll Cycle” from the dashboard.
Download Reports– With Real Time Preview the reports a user can view, export to Excel, etc will
be available directly on the dashboard. For example:
