NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
Notice is hereby given to all interested persons that a pub-lic hearing will be held at Kentucky Housing Corpora-tion, 1231 Louisville Road, Frankfort, KY, in the West An-nex Board Room on Thursday, March 21, 2019, at 1:00pm EST to discuss and review comments on the PublicHousing Agency Annual Plan (PHA Plan) for administer-ing the Kentucky Housing Corporation (KHC) HousingChoice Voucher Program. The plan is for federal fiscalyear 2019 (7/1/2019 to 6/30/2020).
The plan will be available for public review and commentfrom Friday, February 1, 2019, through Wednesday,March 20, 2019, at the above address and on KHC’s web-site at http://www.kyhousing.org/Rental/Pages/default.aspx. Comments will be addressed and considered for in-corporation into the final plan. Oral comments presentedat the public hearing as well as written comments sub-mitted within ten (10) days after the hearing will be in-cluded.
KHC’s office campus is handicapped-accessible. A PUBLIC HEARING WILL BE HELD TO OBTAIN NEEDS IN-FORMATION FOR THE 2019 CONSOLIDATED ACTIONPLAN FOR KENTUCKY’S BLOCK GRANT HOUSING PRO-GRAMS
The Action Plan is the Commonwealth’s application anddistribution plan for U.S. Department of Housing and Ur-ban Development (HUD), Office of Community Planningand Development (CPD) Block Grant Programs(HOME, ESG, CDBG, HTF, and HOPWA). KentuckyHousing Corporation and the Department for Local Gov-ernment are the agencies responsible for submission ofthe plan to HUD.
Kentucky is in the process of drafting the 2019 Consolidat-ed Action Plan, and a public hearing is being held for thepurpose of obtaining public input. Both written and oralcomments will be accepted and where applicable, willbe incorporated into the document.
The public hearing is scheduled for 11 am EST Wednes-day, February 20, 2019 at the Kentucky Housing Corpora-tion West Annex Board Room at 1231 Louisville Road,Frankfort, KY 40601. KHC’s campus is handicapped-accessible. If you are a person with a disability, need in-formation in an alternative format, or speak limited Eng-lish and require special services at the public hearing,please notify Erica Abrams Yan by February 13, 2019, sothat arrangements for those services can be made.
