For one day and one night in November 2012 the Linenhall Arts Centre, Castlebar, Co Mayo, will be transformed into a place of “Utsava” - the removal of earthly woes - providing you with an opportunity to forget your troubles and enjoy great Indian music, film, dance, poetry, food and much, much more. A feast for the senses! In the lead up to the festival, 2nd year students at Davitt College Castlebar have created reflections on Gabriel Rosenstock's Irish translation of Rabindranath Tagore's poetic aphorisms Stray Birds. On the Friday of the festival Gabriel Rosenstock will visit with the students at their school, and the following day he will present an evening celebrating the work of Rabindranath Tagore at the Linenhall Arts Centre.
