His region encompasses Harris, Galveston, Fort Bend, Brazoria and Montgomery counties, and the Bank is currently in the process of expanding from 38 financial centers to 58 financial centers in the region. Mr. LePori explained to the students his responsibility in his position as growing the banks loans and deposits, asset quality, profitability, and employee development for the region. The title of his presentation was Financing Considerations for Entrepreneurs”, and he fielded a substantial numbers of questions from students related to their projects, things entrepreneurs need to know when dealing with a lender, and tips for getting into the commercial lending business. Ranchers Leasing Workshop – Today The Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service will host a Ranchers Leasing Workshop from 12:00 noon to 4:30 p.m. today at the Thomas G. Hildebrand Equine Complex, 3240 F&B Road, College Station. The presenters are Extension faculty from the Agricultural Economics Department, Tiffany Dowell Lashmet , AgriLife Extension Agricultural Law Specialist, Amarillo, and Dr. Greg Kaase, AgriLife Extension Agricultural Economics Risk Management Program Specialist, College Station. The workshop will focus on grazing, hunting and livestock leases, and will provide an opportunity for attendees to ask questions and interact with attorneys and economists. I hope to make it out to part of the program. It is a highly rated, award winning workshop series that is building a reputation for providing excellent educational value to our Extension clientele. Have a great weekend and BTHO Alabama.
