PRESIDENT’S PAGE
Here we are on the eve of the Woodshow as I write
this page. Just this morning in the Shepparton News a
publicity article and photo was predominant on page 3.
I have done an interview with Matt Dowling at the
ABC and have another with Community Radio
tomorrow Wednesday at 7am .
Raffle tickets are rolling in and sales look good but I
would really like someone to take over as Raffle co-
ordinator of our next Woodshow . As you may or may
not know my wife Jan was prepared to look after the
raffle but due to her operation and Chemo treatment I
took on the task which took away my full attention on
the Woodshow preparation so I hope I got everything
done. Thanks to all members who manned sales sites
and looked after sites.
On a completely different subject our household
wheelie bin had not been emptied for three weeks
although it was put out each week. Our Thursday for
Friday pick up so if you see the bin out on Saturday
morning please bring it in.
When you read this the Woodshow will have been
and gone, so I hope all went well.

Carroll's Chronicle February 2018
We have been throwing the R word around for some time now and have decided to make
a few changes to the hours and days we work , this has all come about due to outside
factors last year and a bad start to this year. This will give us a normal 2 day weekend
like we used to have before we started this business over 20 years ago. Yes we need a
bit more Rest.
So the changes will take effect from the 10th of April 2018 , the week after Easter.
Tuesday - Friday 9 am - 4pm
Saturday 10 am - 12pm
CLOSED SUNDAY AND MONDAY.
We will still be closed on public holidays, long weekends and shows so call ahead if not
sure.
We would appreciate if you could advise all friends and club members of the changes as
we know that not all of you get our newsletters.
The shop is still growing with lots of smaller bits and pieces getting added regularly, with
the new format we hope to keep you more informed.
We are rebuilding some of our displays as some have noticed when they come into the
shop, this has 2 effects, when we have shows a lot of the cupboards will just need closing
up and pushing onto the truck and makes it cleaner for you to see all the items available.
FOR THOSE THAT HAVE NOT ALREADY DONE SO CHANGE OUR PHONE NUMBER
TO THE GROVEDALE NUMBER, 03 5243 0522
