Our Mission
The mission of our program is to create well-rounded student athletes that will be champions on the field, in the classroom, and in life.

Player/Parent Handbook
• Please read over our program’s guidelines and philosophies and return the sign-off page to Coach Adams by August 13th. (First day of camp) • Players that fail to hand in the sign-off sheet will not be permitted to practice until it is handed in.• Handbook can be found on our site at www.woodstown.org/page/1531
3 Levels of Play

Placement of Players
Freshman & JV: The purpose of the freshman and JV teams are to continue to develop players for future varsity play. Players have different skill levels, attitudes, and levels of commitment, and these factors will be considered in earning playing time. Playing time is not guaranteed it is EARNED.
Placement of Players
Varsity: Our varsity team is for our most elite athletes. The best players will play as long as they have a TEAM FIRST attitude and hold true to the philosophies of our program. Playing time is not guaranteed and does not depend on grade level. Everyone has the chance to make the varsity team and the best of the best will see playing time.
Captains Eligibility
At the beginning of camp we will have the players vote for captains. To be considered a captain players must meet the following criteria.
• Follow every guideline in the player handbook.• Have no disciplinary problems in school.• Grades must be up to par in every class. 2.5 GPA or Higher.• Must make at least 90% of the offseason workouts. • Be considered a leader by their peers and the coaching
staff.Once captains are assigned they must understand that at anytime they are not following the guidelines in this handbook they may be dismissed from all captain responsibilities.
Football Practice Schedules

Summer Practices
• Mini Camp for all 10th to 12th graders on June 12, 13, and 14th from 3-5pm. • We will practice Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday
starting June 26th. • Blackout Week July 2nd to the 6th NO PRACTICE• Workouts will START at 7AM and conclude at 10AM• Players are to be dropped in the back of the building
and enter through the MPR. • 80% Rule-factored in all offseason/summer
Summer Practices Cont’d
• Attendance will be taken• Players that cannot make a practice are to
communicate it with the head coach prior to the missed practice.
• Please keep in mind that attendance determines playing time and spot on team
• Vacations-Please take prior to August 13th and communicate the dates with me through e-mail so we know where your son is.
Summer Team Invitational
• Will be held ar Kingsway July 25th and 26th
• Cost $75 prior to June 15th and after it increases to $90• Need to register are www.hendrickscamps.com• College coaches run the camp• One of 8 teams invited to particiapate• Team installs with help of College Coaches! • Players get evaluated by local recruiters
Register Online
• This is new this year for football (winter and spring sports did it last year)• You must sign your player up online as well as complete the physical paperwork• There are instruction sheets for this if you would like to pick one up at the end of the meeting
Physicals
• Physical packets on located on our football website please visit www.woodstown.org/page/1531 to print out a packet• Due Date is no later than August 1st
§ Hand into nurse § Coaches cannot collect them!
• If physical on file in nurse’s office is good through the football season the player must hand in the update forms which are also found on our website
Camp Starts August 13th
• Attendance is MANDATORY• During camp all players are to arrive 10 minutes prior
to practice time listed on schedule • We will be holding double sessions and players will stay
between sessions.• Pack a lunch • Change of clothes/Items to shower
• Impact testing: Completed first week of camp • Freshman/Juniors & All New Players
Locker Room
• Lockers are NOT assigned during summer months. • Once August camp begins players will be
assigned a locker and are asked to bring a combination lock• Players should make sure their things are
locked up at all times• Coaching staff is not responsible for ANY items
that go missing
Gear Provided
• Helmet • Mouthpiece• Shoulder Pads/Leg Pads• Practice Jersey/Pant• Game Jersey/Pant • Short/T-Shirt• Game Socks
Gear Needed
• Cleats-Black, White, Orange, Blue • Long Sleeve Compression Shirt (Optional) –

Fundraising
Discount Cards: ($20 dollars/card) • Handed out August 13th after practice • Blitz Thursday August 23th 3pm-6pm• Each player is expected to sell 20 cards Snap-Raise • Players need email address of friends and
relatives• Share the links on social media• Runs for 4 weeks
Fundraising Continued

• Selling Programs at home games• Concession Stand • Need parents to help out in it during games• Need donations for each home game (Soda,
Gatorade, Chips, Pretzels, etc.)
Where is fundraising used??
• Hudl-online film platform for players• JV/Freshman Pizza Party at end of season

• 1000 and 1200 club t-shirts
• Team Packs-Shirt and Shorts for each player on the team
• Banquet dinners/luncheons for our players being honored• Equipment that is needed and not provided by the school

• Division IA– Top players in country/state • Division IAA - Top players in region/state • Division II/NAIA– Top players in state/S. Jersey • Division III – Top players in S. Jersey/Conference • Junior College – (JUCO) Players that do not meet
NCAA eligibility centers requirements but have the athletic ability to play somewhere between Division I and II.
