The spirit of Baily House is not easy to capture in print, but we hope that this brochure will give you a glimpse of the happy, successful and caring Mansfield community of which we are very proud, and that, as owners, we have been committed to through our sister home - Woodleigh Christian Care Home for many years already.

We offer all residents, and their families, a friendly and welcoming home which provides a safe and supportive environment in which to live.

We provide care for the whole person; care that meets emotional, physical and spiritual needs. Although this philosophy of care is based on Christian principles we welcome people of any or no faith. Primarily we value each individual, acknowledging that everyone is special and strive with them to retain their unique personality.

Baily House Features Include:

• Located close to the town centre and easily accessible, you will feel instantly at home in a safe, secure environment.

• The building and the gardens have been specially designed to allow easy, safe access and specialised equipment has been provided.

• There are sixty six bedrooms spread over 3 floors. All rooms are individual and finished to a very high specification; all are en-suite with a shower.

• Each room also has its own TV, DVD, fridge, telephone point and the ability to connect to Sky. There is WiFi connectivity.

• With seven lounges, three dining rooms, a hairdressing salon, coffee shop and numerous smaller cosy places to sit, the home is spacious and comfortable. There is space for everyone to enjoy the company of friends and family or have a time of peace and quiet.

• All rooms are easily accessible and have call points in all areas. There’s also plenty of parking space for any friends or family who come to visit, there`s a good bus route on the doorstep and, if necessary, we can often provide overnight accommodation.

Our Services

We are first and foremost the home of all our residents and we hope, and ask, that they treat Baily House as their home. We provide a wide range of services which include:

• Residential care• Dementia care• Respite care• Palliative or end-of-life careWe also offer nursing care at our long established home (Woodleigh Christian Care Home) one and a half miles from Baily House.

Prior to coming to live with us we encourage prospective residents and their families to come and visit and perhaps have a trial stay, lunch or just a look round. Then the manager will talk with you about what you need and are looking for and tailor the care we provide to your requirements and make sure we can meet your needs.

As a purpose built care home we always have fully qualified care staff on duty. Supporting them are cooks, cleaners, maintenance staff, administrators and our full time chaplain.
