Step 1: holding the sock yarn double, or sport weight yarn by itself, weave 2 orange squares and 1 white square.

Step 2: Take a white square and an orange square and hold them together, whipstitch the edges together.

Optional: Add some wool with clove and cinnamon essential oils into that “pouch” before sewing the rest of the way up.

Step 4: Turn the piece over so that the orange side is facing you. Bring the two side corners in and overlap them by approximately half an inch. Tack them into place, move on to the ears

Step 5: Fold the remaining orange square in half diagonally. Bring the diagonal sides to the center.

Step 6: With the white side of the fox facing you and the flaps of the ear piece facing you, stuff that piece in the gap behind the face.

Step 7: Tack the ears in place and open the pockets slightly to create the ears. With the remaining yarn, tie it into a loop to create a hanger. Optional: Sew on buttons for eyes and nose.
