ITINERARY

Day 1 and 2| Kathmandu valley

Arrival in Kathmandu - Meeting at the airport and transfer to hotel. After a short rest, the excursion to a Hindu temple Pashupatinath, dedicated to Lord Shiva. Pashupatinath - meaning “lord, protector of animals.” The place is full of exotic views Hindu temples and stone sculptures (7-8 AD), wandering sacred - sadhu and observe the Hindu cremation. Another site of attraction is Buddhist stupa Boudnath (AD) - the largest stupa in the world and the center of Buddhism. Around the stupa, there are numbers of temple and monasteries of different relegeous schools of buddhism, which can be visited during the service.

A full day sight-seeing around Kathmandu valley starting from Kathmandu durbar squire most of the monuments here built around 16-17th A.D. The main attraction of this mediaeval palace squire is Kumari Bahal where living goddess Kumari lives. A Pagoda built around 11th century called Kasta-Mandap is believed to be the origin of name of the city KATHMANDU. Beside these there are many other building and temple can be visited here including palace of Malla kings ruled the country between 8th to 17th century. Our another place of interest of the day is Shyambhunath stupa one of the oldest historical site in the valley believed to be exists since more than 2000 years. It is also famous as Monkey temple. Patan city ( 299 BC) is another place of interest of the day, this city is second oldest in the valley famous as city of fine art, middle age temple palace and residential buildings are very well preserve in this city. Patan Burbar Squire

“In the capital of Nepal there is a construction in storeys which has more than 200 tch’en of height and 80 peu (400 ft) of circumference. Ten thousand men can find place in its upper part. Day 3 and 4| Pokhara

Soon after having breakfast you will drive to Pokhara it is normally 5-6 hour drive in private transport. The path leads through many twist and bents just over the Trishuli and Marshyangdi River. Pokhara is situated on 810 meter above sea level. It is a beautiful valley of magnificent lake and mind captivating snowcapped mountain range. While in Pokhara you will experience boat riding in Fewa Lake, Davis fall, cave Guptshwor and mountain museum (Optional) which considered one of the best of its kind in the region.

Early in the next morning even before the sunrise you will drive to the start point of sharankot hike (about 30 minutes’ drive from hotel) from where it takes almost an hour to get to the top. 1510 meter above sea level Sarankot once used by Gurkha army as war strategic point is now serves viewpoint. It’s from here you will enjoy a majestic view of Fishtail, Dhaulagiri and many other high mountains with very first ray of brand new sun of the day.

After breakfast back in the hotel you will further explore the city until lunch and then there will be just enough time to make last minute shopping on Lakeside Street. Overnights in Hotel.

Chitwan national park is not only the home to the Rhino and elephants but also to the even though it is uncertain about their origine but living in there they work out very well immunity against some wild diseases such as malaria, dingo etc. they even learn how to live together with wild animal and share nature. You will have just enough time to visit their houses, community and explore how they manage to live in there and at evening before dinner you will be served tharu stick dance.

Chitwan National Park

Day 5 and 6| Chitwan

We travel further south for Chitwan National Park (about 4 hours), located in the former royal hunting reserve. The park is in the wild, and it has remains the largest count of single horned Rhino in the south Asia there are also a good numbers of Bengal tigers, wild buffalo, Elephants, many species of deer, leopards and other inhabitants of the jungle. During our stay in Jungle Park we will visit Tharu village, and observe their cultural activities before the end of the day one. The beginning of the intense will start with elephant riding, going on narrow wooden boat through Rapri River inhabits of crocodile and alligators is pretty amazing experience. We will also visit center for breeding elephants.

Day 7| Kathmandu

Departure just after breakfast and drive back to Kathmandu it takes 5 hours to reach there, back in the city you can get some time for last hour shopping in just case if you miss anything. A farewell dinner will be served with Nepalese cuisine and

dancing in a traditional kitchen (Restaurant). Overnight at the hotel.

Day 8| Departure

Just before you checkout your hotel you can book a mountain flight of duration of one hour which is well enough to see the world’s highest peak - Mount Everest ( 8,848 m), Makalu ( 8463 m), Lhotse ( 8516 m), Shisha Pagma ( 8013 m ), and many others. You will back from mountain flight just before breakfast. Checkout time 12:00 Transfer to the airport for departure from Nepal.

PACKING: Choosing the right clothing is very important. You have to make sure that you pack enough for your stay, keeping in mind that you are not over packed. This is not a trekking trip and you are not carrying a back pact on you. But a small rucksack or a handbag could be helpful for carrying sun cream, water bottle, camera, mobile and a flees for a day.

While packing few more thing are better to keep in mind. If you are rafting in a River then you will be all wet and better to have a small extra packing of a towel, dry cloths, sun cream. Wet sleepers or sandal is better for rafting and of course a wet packet for your camera and other valuables like mobile phone and wallet. In jungle certain rules and regulations are there like where and how you should appear. It is not recommended to ware perfume while inside, its strong odor the wild animal has very good sense of orders. Wearing bright color dresses also not recommended better if you can avoid white, red, yellow, and other highlighting colors. Green dark grey black are recommended instead. Long sleeves is better for Elephant riding and for jungle

walk it helps prevent scratches caused by the branches of trees and bushes. Wearing shorts are fine but trouser or pant is better, similarly closed shoes or boots are better than sleepers, shoes with high hills are not recommended. A cap is important. A small back pack for your water bottle, camera, tissue paper and other accessories is a good idea. Although there are no lethal insects exists in these area but still if you carry an antiseptic or mosquito repellents is fine.

While you are in resort or resort in the jungle you will be able to experience some luxury such as Electricity, Air condition, internet, a hair dryer. And if you miss anything during your last minutes pack do not worry you can find them in Kathmandu or in Pokhara. Your tour guide will always be with you to short out the necessity.

HEALTH: Visit of Nepal does not require special vaccination, however, we recommend to consult with the attending physician and to stock up with necessary drugs before you depart

Medical services in Nepal are limited in mountainous areas. If you wear glasses, it is better to have at itself spare couple.

MOUNTAIN SHICKNESS: Any person traveling above 2500m can get easy symptoms of a mountain illness. The first signs are the headache, increased fatigue, sleeplessness, appetite loss, liquid loss by an organism and puffiness. At emergence of such signs it is necessary to remain at this height before full acclimatization of an organism. It is necessary to use from 2nd to 4 liters of liquid a day. If symptoms don’t pass and the state worsens, it is necessary to go down immediately. Sometimes even 300m can play a crucial role. Planning the travel, leave spare days on acclimatization at height 3700m and 4300m. After 4000m try not to rise more than on 500m in one day. You can

inadequately estimate the condition therefore always follow advice of the accompanying guide or locals.

WEATHER: Weather conditions on mountain are unpredictable. It might be sunny during the day and cold as well as windy at night, especially at the high altitudes. Sudden rain storms or snow flurries are always a possibilities. Better be prepared!
