Even i you need a wheelchair to get around, that doesnt mean you wont still beneft rom routine exercise.Women in wheelchairs can still do cardiovascular exercises, stretch and even lit light weights. Such activities can reduce risko heart disease while improving muscle tone and increasing rangeo motion.

Its t late t begin a new eercise regien. Its never too late or anyone, including aging women, to begin

a new exercise regimen. I its been awhile since you last laced upyour sneakers, start light with a walk around the neighborhoodand other activities that wont elevate your heart rate or proveoverly taxing. As your body gradually gets acclimated to exercise,

    Every Womens Expo.

deals to be had online, its important

    women know who theyre buying

    rom beore entering any personal

    inormation and placing any orders.

Most shoppers eel saest when doing

business only with those online retail-

    ers theyre amiliar with. However,

sometimes its necessary to buy rom

other Web sites. I so, research the sitebeore making any purchases. A repu-

table online retailer will boast easily

    accessible customer service inorma-

tion, including a phone number con-

sumers can call round-the-clock i they

    have any questions or concerns.

h with a credit card. Laws

exist in both the United States and

    Canada to protect online shoppers

rom raud i their purchases are made

with credit cards. Americans, or in-

stance, are protected by the Fair Credit

Billing Act, which gives shoppers the

right to dispute charges on their credit

card and withhold payment while the

    disputed charges are investigated. Use

this protection to your advantage by

using only credit cards to make online

purchases.play things clse t the vest. On-

line retailers will likely request a host

o inormation, only some o which

is necessary to complete a purchase.

Shoppers dont have to answer ques-

tions about their liestyle, income or

    other personal inormation that has

nothing to do with their actual pur-

    chase. Volunteering inormation about

liestyle or income oten leads to spam

e-mail that targets shoppers based on

their responses to unnecessary inqui-ries when buying items online. Only

fll out the bare minimum amount o

    inormation when checking out.

    Try t sh destic. Shopping

    domestic, or buying exclusively rom

retailers located within your own coun-

try, is another way shoppers can pro-

tect themselves rom raud. Laws that

protect consumers may only apply to

purchases made within the same coun-

try. In addition, items bought online

rom another country are likely to cost

    more money to ship.

A 2010 report rom the Nielsen

    Company revealed that women are

more engaged in many online purchase

    categories, including clothes, travel

and home accessories, than their male

    counterparts. As women continue to

rely on the Internet or their purchases,

they must also continue to ocus on

    protecting their privacy.
