JV HEAD COACH & ASSISTANT VARSITY COACH Jaresha Obey is entering her sixth season at Rochester College, her fourth as Head Junior Varsity Coach and her sixth as a varsity assistant coach. After graduating from Mount Clemens High School in 2003, Jar-esha went on to play four years at Rochester College where she was a three year starter, two year captain and leading scorer, and was named MVP in her final season. Prior to coaching at Rochester College, Jaresha

coached middle school girl's basketball at Bethesda Christian School, spent two years working for the Palace of Auburn Hills where she worked the Year Round Hoops program, and ran various Shock and Piston's camps for boys and girls of all ages. Coach Obey also serves in the U.S. Air Force as a member of the Michigan Air National Guard.

VARSITY HEAD COACHSims enters his third season after leading the Lady Warriors to a USCAA National Tournament appearance in 2011 and 2012. Prior to becoming the head coach, Sims served as the team's assistant for one year and the men's assistant for 11 years.

Sims is a 1992 graduate of Livonia Churchill High School. After high school, Sims attended Lipscomb University in Nashville, Tenn., where

he graduated with a degree in Kinesiology/Sports Medicine. While at Lipscomb, Sims worked with legendary basketball coach and ESPN Espy winner, Don Meyer. He also had the honor of working with college basketball's all-time leading scorer, John Pierce.

Shortly after graduating from Lipscomb, Sims joined the Rochester College men's basketball team as an Assistant Coach under celebrated coach, Garth Pleasant where his main duty was coaching the post players. During his 11 years on Coach Pleasant's staff, he was fortunate to be a part of two USCAA National Championship teams as well as contribute to the development of All-American post players Mike Robinson, Bennie Theriot, Mike Tobin and Will Goree.

Eric is married to the former Jill Shultz of East Liverpool, Ohio. They have two sons: 9-year-old Corson and 8-year-old Braden. Eric and his family reside in Redford, MI.
