#34 ROXANNE DOUVILLE, VERMONT (Freshman Goaltender; Beloeil, Que.)Douville stopped 43 saves on Friday earning her a 1-1 tie at Northeastern. She recorded 18 stops in the opening frame vs. the Huskies and tallied 15 saves in the third period to help the Catamounts earn a point in the WHEA
standings.

#27 GENEVIEVE LACASSE, PROVIDENCE (Junior Goaltender; Scarborough, Ont.)Lacasse stopped 40 shots in Friday’s (10/29) 2-2 tie against No. 5 Boston University, including three in overtime. The goalie made several quality saves, including on a partial breakaway in the first period by Terrier Jenn Wakefield. She stopped 14 shots in the opening period and
13 in the third frame.
WHEA CO-DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK
BOSTON COLLEGE EAGLESThe Eagles earned three points on the weekend in the home and home series with Con-necticut. BC skated to a 2-2 with the Huskies on Saturday at Freitas Ice Forum and followed that up with a 3-0 shutout vs. UConn on Sunday at Conte Forum. The Eagles out UConn,
77-41 on the weekend and the BC penalty kill was a perfect 9-for-9 in the two-game set.

#36 LINDSEY MINTON, NEW HAMPSHIRE (Junior Goaltender; Richardson, Texas)Minton stopped all 49 shots she faced in a two-game series against Niagara to backbone UNH to 1-0 and 2-0 victories. She made a season-high 25 saves in the 1-0 overtime win. Minton kept Niagara off the scoresheet on all 11 power-play opportunities (16 shots).

UNH has played to a scoreless tie throughregulationtwicethisseason;theWildcatsdefeatedNiagarawith52secondsremaininginOTandlostatColgateinovertime.UNHis4-1ingamesdecidedbyonegoal;lastyear,the‘Catswent4-5in those games. The team is closing in on two milestones: UNH has 197 wins at the Whittemore Center and 694 victories in program history.

UniversityofVermont: Senior peggy Wakeham recorded two goals this weekend at Northeastern, sheiscurrentlyonafourgamegoal-scoringstreak…Vermontis1-0-2whenscoringthefirstgoalthisseason… Senior captain Celeste doucet (Memramcook, N.B.) leads the Catamounts in scoring with three goals, and three assists…vermont is undefeated (1-0-1) this season when they out-shoot their opponents…Friday vermont went to overtime for the fourth time in eight games this season…Four overtimes in a season matches the previous school record…The Catamounts return to action next weekend as they travel to face New Hampshire and Boston College in Hockey East action.
